The following links are to useful IT related sites and other sites on the
internet. These many be sites for commercial/shareware software or other useful
information sites. In addition to the sites listed here, there are some

VIRUS AND HOAX INFORMATION
Antivirus
Viruses are an ever growing problem on the internet. If you aren't protected,
you should be. I personally prefer the McAfee product. Their site is also a
good source of information about the latest viruses (virii?) going around. The

Hoaxes
There are lots of emails going around supposedly telling true funny/frightening
stories. Nearly all of them are false, but they won't go away - they just keep
recirculating every couple of years. For all the info on these "Urban Legends"

Search engines such as Copernic( see the Free Software page) are good, but you
you can get all sorts of strange hits with them. As an alternative, there are
a number of "Links" sites which just contain huge lists of categorised links.
These are often a better way of finding what you are loking for. My favourite
