Oil Palm Project Management System
Integrated system for management of a major aid
funded smallholder oil palm expansion project
including base information concerning several
thousand smallholders, GIS information including an
interfacing to MapInfo, and maintenance of
historical records concerning production, production
expenses and income for each block.
Construction Contract Supervision/Administration
System to set up and evaluate tenders for major
construction projects by the Queensland
Department of Natural resources and then
monitor/administer the actual construction.
Initially developed for on specific location,
it has subsequently been adopted for use on
other major construction projects throughout
Queensland and is now also in use by a major
civil construction company.
Aircraft Engineering Spares Inventory Control
System, Flight Operations Control, Transport Fleet
Management
Inventory control, maintenance forecasting, purchase
and repair order, RPT transport flight scheduling,
rostering and hours monitoring and ground transport
fleet maintenance and inventory control systems for
a major third level airline.
Factory Production/Inventory Control System
System to manage the manufacture process for a major
paint/coatings manufacturer including inventory
control, batch formula production, costing of
finished products, materials forecasting and
purchase order production and tracking
Materials Handling Management and Tracking
1. Kutubu Pipeline Development - Tracking system
to control movement of all materials used on the
Kutubu Pipeline development. Included recording of
all material received into air terminal depot,
preparation of Cargo documentation for movement from
the main airport to site and tracking distribution
from site airfield to pipeline and mini refinery
sites. Project involved movement of over 100,000
tonnes of break bulk cargo with up to 300 tonnes in
20 tonne aircraft lifts per day at peak periods.
2. Lihir Goldmine Construction - similar to above
for sea movement from port of Lae to Lihir Island in
800 tonne barges.
Integrated Project Management Information System
Under AUSAID funding, a management information
system within a major government department to
manage a 5-year project funded jointly by AIDAB,
Asian Development Band and World Bank.
Warehousing/Stock Inventory Control
Systems to manage warehouse, wholesale & retail
outlet inventory control, stock pricing and daily
cash reconciliation for an organisation with a
number of supermarket and other retail outlets.
Includes tracking of all stock movements into and
between outlets, maintenance of cost & sell price
information and reconciliation of monthly stock
takes including analysis of stock on hand value,
cash receipts and profit margins.
Plant Hire Control and Accounting
System for monitoring/controlling the use of all
plant and equipment used by a major construction
company on contracts throughout PNG and for outside
plant hire including invoicing/accounting by
projects/sites.

Automated Job Card, stock control and invoicing
system for heavy plant and machinery repair workshop
plus fuel/oil/lubricant issue and billing system.

System for a major Computer Equipment Sales and

all guard service contracts (both casual and
permanent) and provide monthly billings
